This month, earthworks commenced on a new stadium for Brisbane's 2032 Olympic Games. After years of debate, reviews, and a political backflip, Victoria Park was controversially selected by the current state government as the site for the new stadium. The park is the largest existing green space in Brisbane City and holds special significance to local Indigenous people.
