Why Focus on Collaboration? Merging Two Nonprofits to Help Silicon Valley Children

This episode explores the motivations, challenges and opportunities that exist when two Bay Area nonprofits merge. Our speakers will discuss how TeenForce and Silicon Valley Children's Fund merged to become the new Silicon Valley Children's Fund. The merger of the two organizations is the outcome of Microsoft's YouthSpark program, which creates collaboration among participating nonprofits.
