Why Grace Still Matters // Pastor Jon Larson
from Sunday Sermons · host King of Kings Lutheran Church
Jesus offers us a grace that is deep, undeserved, and constant. It’s the kind of grace that meets us in our weakness, lifts us from shame and reminds us we are loved not for what we do, but for who He is. God’s grace isn’t just for salvation; it’s for daily life, those times when we fail, fall short, or feel unworthy. It’s a gift freely given, not earned. While we often receive God’s grace, we’re slow to extend that same grace to others and even to ourselves. We replay our mistakes and the mistakes of others. As Jesus has forgiven us, we must learn to forgive ourselves too. We are works in progress, deeply loved, and fully covered by grace.May we allow God’s grace to soften our hearts not only toward others but towards ourselves so that God’s grace may give you peace.
