Amid high energy prices resulting from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Democrats and green groups are ramping up pressure on President Joe Biden and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to move forward on a package of policies that would reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reliance on fossil fuels.
