Why I Believe (1Cor 15.12-26) - 4-24-22

Scripture texts are Isaiah 53.1-12 and 1Cor 5.12-from the subject, “Why I Believe.”Historians agree Jesus was a real person who lived about 33 years. They agree he was crucified and died. They concur he was buried in a tomb owned by Joseph of Arimathea. The exact location of the tomb was known. They agree that Jesus was buried on the same day He was crucified... on a Friday. But He didn’t stay in the grave. He may have died on a Friday. But the blessing and the miracle took place on a Sunday… Easter Sunday… Resurrection Sunday! I believe in the resurrection. Allow me to share five reasons why.•The first reason I believe in the resurrection is because of the empty tomb! •The second reason I believe in the resurrection is because of the hundreds of witnesses who saw the risen Savior.•The third reason why I believe in the resurrection is because of the transformation of the disciples.•The fourth reason why I believe in the resurrection is because of the transformation of Paul.•The fifth and final reason why I believe in the resurrection is because of what He has done in my life.Embrace and receive Jesus the Christ as LORD and Savior of your life today.
