Why I Didn't Vote

from Waves · host Waveney Wilson

With there being a 6/6 and the January 2021 Tobago House of Assembly election, the island was left at a stand still and after months of deliberation the Island of Tobago was expected to return to the polls in December 2021 almost 11 months after the split.  I made the decision to not vote in January and I held my ground and also didn't vote in December.  With many persons saying that I was apart of the problem and that I needed to vote to make an impact.  I recorded this podcast during the election period and with a new year I finally decided to upload it.   “If we don’t fight for what we ‘stand for’ with our passionate words and honest actions, do we really ‘stand’ for anything?” ― Tiffany Madison
