This bag of medicine costs about $8 a bottle in the U.S. In Cuba, the same supply can cost the equivalent of a month’s income or simply isn’t available at all. Multiply that across thousands of bottles and you’re looking at something worth hundreds of thousands of dollars in a country being economically strangled to death. Basic medicine turned into a luxury, priced out of reach for ordinary people. This is what passes as “foreign policy” for the American empire.
