Why Is God Making Me Wait?

Have you ever wondered why God seems to delay answering your prayers? In this episode of Finish The Race Daily, we explore the biblical purpose of waiting through Psalm 27:14 and discover that God's delays are never wasted. While we often focus on changing our circumstances, God is often using seasons of waiting to strengthen our faith, deepen our trust, and prepare us for what lies ahead. Throughout Scripture, God accomplished some of His greatest work during seasons of waiting. Abraham, Joseph, David, Moses, and countless others learned that waiting is not a sign of God's absence but evidence of His perfect timing. Together, we'll examine how patient faith, daily obedience, and confidence in God's promises allow us to experience His peace even when answers seem slow to come. If you're waiting for direction, healing, restoration, or an open door, this devotional will encourage you to trust that God is still working behind the scenes. His timing is perfect, His promises never fail, and His mercies are new every morning. Keep trusting, keep obeying, and keep waiting with hope as you continue to Finish the Race.
