We sit down with two returning guests to ask the uncomfortable questions: Why are stereotypes so sticky across the African diaspora? Why does misinformation spread faster than history? And who is cashing in, politically and economically, every time we turn our pain into content and start fighting each other online?We dig into how identity gets shaped by different historical experiences, from Reconstruction era propaganda in the United States to colonial borders on the African continent that still function like “cracks” designed to split unity. We talk about how stereotypes work as tools of power, not just insults, and why the 1970s in America matter more than most people realize when we’re trying to understand today’s cultural damage. From education and HBCU connections to trade, minerals, and brain drain, the conversation keeps circling back to the same point: unity isn’t just emotional, it’s strategic.Then we zoom out to the global machine. White supremacy operates internationally, adapts its tactics, and runs counterintelligence against Black organizing and Black intelligence. If that’s true, our response has to be smarter than clapbacks.
