Why is there Evil in the World?

Jonathan and Christian are back! We have both wrestled with personally and have been asked by many others about the problem of evil. In short, the problem of evil goes like this: If God is omnisicient (knows everything), omnipotent (all powerful), omnipresent (is everywhere), and is all loving, then why does He allow evil? Why did He allow my family member to die? Why is allowing rape, murder, war, etc. Why does all of this take place if God could stop it? That is the argument that Christian and I have been addressing in personal conversations for years now, so we want to share what we believe to be a confident answer for the hope that we have in Jesus Christ!
