Why Jesus Waits

In the sermon, the focus is on delving into the parable of the ten virgins, intricately highlighting the imperative nature of readiness for the awaited second coming of Jesus. The discourse underscores the profound significance of immersing oneself in daily communion with God's Word, fostering a deep-rooted love for both God and fellow beings, and actively seeking spiritual healing from the entanglements of sin. Furthermore, the delay in Jesus' return is contemplated, revealing a purposeful pause to allow the unfolding consequences of sin and to prompt individuals to acknowledge the critical essence of spiritual preparedness. This contemplative reflection serves as a poignant reminder of the eternal vigilance and profound introspection required in the journey towards spiritual enlightenment and readiness for the divine encounter.
