Why Josée went from Epidural to Home Birth

Today on The Natural Birth Podcast we have JoséeJosée is a mama of two from Ottawa, Canada. Her first birth in the hospital unfolded like most hospital births do, when she hit transition she didn’t get the emotional and spiritual support she needed but instead was given an epidural.After this birth experience she felt the need to research birth in preparation for her second. She found this podcast and binged it and was inspired to help change the narrative around birth by coming on here herself to share her story from an epidural hospital birth to a calm physiological home birth with her family. In between her two babies she also had an early birth or miscarriage as it’s more commonly called. We speak to this as well and the importance of acknowledging the loss of a baby however early. Reclaiming the secret lives of women and shining light on it is to reclaim our power, magic and wholeness.Curious about Josée?
