Why Me vs For Me?

from Linking Arms · host Purposeful Living

When life throws us curveballs, we find ourselves asking "Why me?" and although there is a healthy aspect to acknowlegding the situation as it is, we can get stuck there and that can negatively affect every aspect of our lives. Sitting on the island of "Why me?" doesn't help us to move forward but there is hope. When we move into acceptance, and look for possible steps to move us into action, we can start the process of healing. When we shift our perspective and choose differently we can start to see the big picture, and see God working in our lives. We can start to see the lessons, open ourselves up to choices we have and embrace the healing we need. Our guest shares a simple 3 step process to shift from "Why me?" thinking. She encourages us to let go of judgment and approach solutions with compassion. She reminds us that God is working for us, and has a beautiful plan for our lives.
