Why Must I Forgive? // Matthew 18

Pastor Jeff Meyer delivered a powerful message on forgiveness. As christians we need to forgive because we have been forgiven. However, more than just sharing the forgiveness that was given to us we need to acknowledge how resentment can make us miserable. Holding onto a grudge, even if it may stem from real hurt, can only make us bitter people and draw us further away from our walk with Christ. In our relationships with one another we also need to accept how we will need forgiveness in the future so we may as well extend each other forgiveness now.
