And they lost Angela's care for me or your self for clean nonstop days of or as the days of the dead convention returns to Los Angeles for more information go to facethedead.net I know what you want. I know you want your case of our usual stupidity that you've grown a lot over the past three years so they'll come back. I'm from the asshole! And they'll find it.
Look at that! Look at the left! Look at the right! Look at that!
Happy? Okay so go to facebook.com slash nowhere California and get all the information about the celebration our party that we always have we usually head out with the gathering of people to celebrate this. If you want to come out and show your love cool if you want to come out to a public place and help the shut the fuck up. Hey more than there you go back in time.
Oh crap! Gotta go back in time. Because we're going to lie not back to the future. I know that's how kind of weird that we're lying on the back of the future.
I know. I know. But some people think back to the future is like freaking dumb. You know what we're going to do in a lie not or like we did in the past.
We're lying on the back of the future. Yeah. And there's some people out there that might be thinking why not even back to the future. For the ones that are thinking you're lying on the back of the future.
You have enough to. Yeah. There's no real. No.
It's kind of like I don't go why not to the back of the future. I said that I'm like oh I want to freaking back to the future. But then is that we're going to handle people are like. Yeah.
Let me just go back to the future. Why not that? For those people. I'm going to talk about it now.
Go away. Yeah. Yeah. Those most you that have done their entire adult life and not seen the movie.
You know the movie. Check that you don't know anything about it or what happens. It's like harmony isn't it. Go away.
You're listening to the one podcast. Yeah. You cannot be a fan of the word California and not sat and watched this movie. Exactly.
It's just a form of concept. It's like who the hell? What is this? If you can't hear it.
The people is getting in. No. It's like I'm going to put somebody. Yeah.
How can you not. Okay. Okay. Let's just go right into the usual why not.
The profile for why not is versus go with the budget and let's see if they need it. All right. Okay. It is back to the future came out of 1985.
The budget for which was $19 million estimated and opening weekend. Okay. I'll get this. They have it in the euros.
Well, you got the entire thing down. No, no. See, that's the way it was. Yeah.
They're showing us the British pounds. Okay. Okay. The domestic gross for it from January.
This is January 1986. Okay. This is American gross. You're the American gross.
$197 billion. $902,294. So I think I have a suspicion that it may have made some of its money. A little bit.
Yeah. Yeah. I'm saying, okay. Suspension.
It shows that this movie was ground breaking. Yeah. It was at the right place, right time, right cast, right people. Everything.
The right cast and right people. Now, fun fact. I don't know how to talk about this. Okay.
Oh, man. Oh, sorry. This is one of those movies. I don't know how to tackle first.
Yeah. That is what we're breaking this apart into three part. Why not? Okay.
I'm going to take a breather. Okay. Here we go. We have the cast.
We've got Michael J. Fox as Marty McFlyer. Well, that pretty much bottom to the map with family ties. Yeah.
He was too busy doing this to do team. Oh, God bless. God bless Monad. I mean, I love team will fly.
But I like Michael J. Fox. He went 24 hours basically working throughout this. Do this commitment to family ties.
Get in the car, get to set, get a little bit sleep before getting to set it back to future. Work on back to future several hours. Start the day again. Exactly.
I got. You know, there's a lot of hard work there. I mean, I talked about how he was basically his own agency. He would stand by his pay phone and stuff like that.
This is Michael J. Fox's story. He had to start him. This is one of those things.
I'm so glad this was a success. Cool for him. I enjoyed the guy in almost everything he's in. and almost everything is in it but this is a lot of the go-to is kind of he's just so fun to watch there's a charm about Michael J.
Fox. He has a natural charm down there just like he's that type of guy you know he's not that person that he's not going to get outside of his background public. No no he's not right he just he sells who you know like who he is so much of a little piece of him. He has an ever single character that he's played and Marty I think is a real is a real close one.
Yeah it's close to the real Michael J. Fox that you're gonna get to know. And then we jump into Doc Brown and play by Chris. Christopher Lloyd who really this this is another one I mean he was a comedic actor in this major career too.
I mean he does several things prior to that. Well you got him in flaxie you get him in once the other group is nice and a lot of great roles but this is he is one of the greatest mentors I think you ever grace. You know he's up there with Merlin. No exactly.
He's one of the greatest mentors to ever grace him. Honestly you look at probably the genealogy of the Doc Brown family. Merlin's probably there somewhere. Probably yeah along with those scholars but Christopher Lloyd created this really a centric brilliant character and absolutely brought him to life and about although the oh man do it.
The chemistry. Yeah the way that they can possibly work together. I mean there's an age barrier I think I think at this point Christopher Lloyd is in his 40s and Michael's in his 20s. Yeah but they are just bumping cues off each other working off each other playing off each other.
So it was so fun not only and these are leads. Yeah and it's great and then rounding out the cast you got Chris and Glover as both his father in present time and his father in the past. Yeah Thompson is another we got these wonderful makeup effects. Yes I'm being grounded breaking makeup effects.
I mean I actually saw him. You and I went to go see back to the future. They wanted to portray Christopher Lloyd as a little older. Yeah he's actually playing I think probably a guy that's supposed to be in his 60s.
Yeah I think he was in his 40s here. Yeah but you can see that he's got like a little makeup thing on his dad. Yeah I'm skipping here. They explain that I think they work away to get Christopher Lloyd out of the makeup by saying that he went to a rejuvenation clinic.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. So we were building the back of the future too. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. I'll touch up on that later but you know but you can still there's all these groundbreaking makeup acts. They're already there to age the characters from 1955 to 1980. Yeah and then we also do another great makeup job in another great acting job by Tom Wilson as if.
Oh yes. He is my favorite bully. Oh yes. As far as great antagonist.
Oh yeah. Every time on being kind of one. Yeah. Still being a bully more.
You know he just you know that that's just is probably a character that is so far but it's not him. He's probably like the nicest guy in the world. I have seen him live doing Stan O'Conan. He's hilarious and I've talked to all the actors very very nice.
You know the thing is but the way he plays the guy like you're not really an asshole. You're doing you're playing asshole too much. And that's kind of the reason why you last couple things I've heard about him that Tom Wilson has said like he really doesn't like talking about back to future anymore. That's a shame.
Yeah. Which I don't blame him on it too because there's like those people like we've talked about that's about led from Star Wars. Oh yeah. Where he's like I don't want to talk about Star Wars like I don't know who the hell you were in Star Wars.
Yeah exactly but this is a bit. Yeah and you know I think he probably has so much grief for people and gets so many. Probably the same thing that William Atherton gets being Walter Peck. Exactly.
William Atherton is probably you know what's gonna be a Walter Atherton. William Atherton is a very nice guy but he played this bad guy in this franchise and I mean an entire school bus rolled down the windows and hi Dick Lance. Yeah I mean we're gonna know what what what what what that goes to. Yeah but also to you guys think he probably throws out there like I really don't like talking about it but if you I don't say if you approach him as a person a person not going just a person a bad.
No no no. Hey can I treat you down here? No. I would like to sit down and go you did a good job playing the bully and playing the foil.
You're going to get back to your past 29 years. I enjoy watching you in those movies and everything that you've done since. I'm really bummed that I haven't seen more of you. I enjoy you.
He does. He deserves his style on the lock of fame. I mean but the way he just betrayed him so far. Oh yeah.
See there's just there's so much positive. There's so much driving in this movie that there's so many dominoes that are just in the right spot. Oh is that. Oh wow.
Yeah and then you look at we look at Casser and then you don't look at the ring here. The whole thing is the director. Robert DeMecos. Oh yeah he's the same one we did.
Who framed Roger Brown. Yeah this is the man that got bugs money and Mickey Mouse, Donald Clark and Debbie Nuc just share a screen. Yeah that is a feat that you just can't do today. You will never have again.
No. No. People forget just how much of a miracle that is. That man made it happen.
I don't know what I'll say since we just recently lost Eddie Balen. Yes. Unfortunately I don't think we'll ever see that. We'll never see the CG recreation or sequel.
Yeah we'll never see the Roger Brown sequel which is kind of sad but I'll say do it some minutes while I drive it as that moment in time. It does and also some of Bob Hopkins and where you know he's at you know I mean the things he will always be Eddie Balen. Oh there will be another one and Mario. He says that is one regret in life and if that's his one regret more powerful.
Yeah exactly. I would say that is a regret. I mean it's probably when I was laughing. I thought I'd do that.
But you know I'm glad he did because I enjoy Super Mario because I love Bob Hopkins. Yeah exactly. And I won't miss it. You know I loved him so much.
You know how much I did to test James Stewart. Yeah because this was he was one of the seven dwarves or he was one of the dwarves. Yeah CG because it was technically his last movie I went out and bought the last no like months. Well if I'm not heard about the movie it's a good movie.
It's an okay movie. But you know that's all about Bob and Zemeckis and I know rest in rest in peace Bob I'm glad I hope you enjoyed your retirement before you win. Yeah and then but also back to Zemeckis. You look at his canon where he's revolutionized with full express and everything.
It's honestly it started with Back to Future because I remember correctly what it was after Back to Future. It was. Yeah so the ideas and everything you know the mind that dude has when he's did all the idea for the ballerine which if I remember correctly initially was going to be like a phone booth or like a refrigerator or something. It was going to be that type of time machine but the idea came across where it's like well he's going to need to travel easily.
So let's make a machine into a car. Yeah now we're getting onto one of the greatest one of the greatest picture cars ever devised in history. But back to the future time machine. Don't worry.
The Dorian the car that was developed by some dude named Dorian to Smuggle Coke. I know that's not the correct story but yeah you know what? Take away buddy. This is your ghost.
Yes yeah honestly Back to Future is my my neck on my ghostbusters and that's Dorian that car symbolizes so much like I recently started collecting the Dorian. I got my three Dorians and I got the 124 models of those. I'm going to be getting the fuck up one here soon too. Well the lego.
Okay and it's like we said the Dorian the distribution that we get at the end of the movie. Yeah it's a misadmission at the end of the movie and that leads into the flying car. Yeah that'll be on the way later. I mean I guess yeah I want to cover this one.
When we cover the whole franchise like I said I don't want to beat myself so I will focus on the thing at hand. Well we'll be spreading these out for the next couple months leading into a full-on cross-examination of the full franchise which will bring in our cohorts Nick and Doug you know. Oh absolutely because I really got to hear their thoughts on it because you know just like um like ghostbusters I don't hear anybody. I know we joked about it at the beginning.
It's like oh if you haven't seen this movie get the hell out of here. I have not seen anybody who has not seen this movie. I don't know if it was not seen the movie and I do not know anybody that says oh I hate that movie. Oh exactly.
Yeah now uh another part to the Dorian that we definitely need to make bring up here is the flux capacitor. Oh the thing that makes time travel possible. There we go. That's that's a fun little piece of budget lights.
Oh the time circuits. The time circuits and everything. Oh the little the little dial I mean this prop is awesome. Yeah that's what probably is a mechanism everybody's like you have to learn and go no okay this is gonna be cool.
Everyone's gonna like to flash and everything. It became more than a prop. It became a character. It was a character yes thank you.
It was. Yeah you were just gonna say something really short. Oh at least you have no look she doesn't hate the movies. She loves the movies those things.
She actually gets a headache with the concept of time travel. Because there's all this. This is the thing that you and Matt and I discussed when we were talking about the you know the paradox theory. There's so many rules.
Exactly. You know that you go back and forth on I think one of her favorites is actually the time machine. Yeah but you know I guess that but once again doesn't hate the movie. She thinks that the story is great.
The thing is the thing is like I was trying to bring up something that's close to somebody that's not liking it but it's like it's like you know you can't figure out time travel because you know it's anybody can write any rules. But I was like this one did kind of set the bar. Yeah it's future time traveling films. Exactly.
It did it like with that I don't had and although I'm trying to travel even up to you hot to on that machine there you go. Yeah and most recently it wasn't a full on time travel movie but we do get kind of a nod to the like you see it back to future and I'm only always in the west with the doc rounds. I am going to totally dark on this one. You don't have a story now.
Those of you who haven't seen the million ways that I'm west the story takes place in 1882. Yeah. Seth McParlane. Now this is a funny joke.
I'm not going to have a funny joke. He goes and he sees the doc round working on the time machine. Yeah going to another experiment. It's not right.
Yeah. Now here is where I'm going to totally dork up. Yeah. When he went back into the old west he went into 1985 and he was only there for three months before he got shot.
Yeah. He would have been there in 1882. That's my little thing but that's okay. I'll be the dick in this moment.
Oh I was this. Okay. He was in Hill Valley in 1885. That's when the note was sent.
Uh huh. Doesn't mean he may have got blasted into 1882 into the this part of the west where McParlane's at that time trying to get the DeLorean up and running. Oh come on. I didn't get into Hill Valley.
You know how that DeLorean works. It takes you back and time. It will not take you to a different area. It'll take you back to a space and time.
Where he was. He was already in Hill Valley. He would have wound up in back in the past in Hill Valley. I don't care what kind of lightning struck it.
He went to wind up in 1882 and another part of the freaking west. Don't put down a knife. I'm put. No.
I'm taking it back and I'm leaving here and I'm sliding you in the face with that and I'm at the same time. What is difficult here? I don't know because you tested me. You don't overcharge me.
I can't believe you. If you're not backing up back up like a man with some logic. I didn't know you didn't. You know how that works.
You know how it works. You're just trying to poop with me. I'm trying to control myself. You're doing it.
You're doing it. You're doing it. You're doing it. You're doing it.
You're doing it. Okay. But back to the campaign everything. When you saw Melio and I was talking about it already.
So that's my second time. It exploded. A lot of people reacted. It really got a reaction.
I didn't get any reaction to my theater. Oh my God. Doc got came up and did his line. I was wondering what he was going to do.
I was the thing over. I decided to be in the back. Why did my ass off? Because I have a pulse.
Yeah. AdWords I'm thinking like oh God. If I was thinking about that. Oh no.
That's not going to be going. That's fucking back to the future. Yeah. Fuck it.
Clap. You're just stupid. Mom. I'm right.
Fuck this shit. Exactly. Oh. You know what?
I just thought of something and I'm not going to bring it up until we ground up the franchise. But I think I actually can't rationalize why this is an older, you know, an older Christopher Lloyd and older Doc Brown in 1882. I can actually, I do believe I can actually rationalize it and make it canon. I think I can probably do it too because I think I know where you're going on.
We'll talk about my goals. Save it for our cross-examination. I'm just saying that after just in case there are other people that know what I'm talking about, I'm getting this out there so you're not sitting there going oh you motherfucker. I'm going to drop kick you.
I mean there are people that love this as much as I do that are getting just as worked up as I just did and they want to drop kick my ass. Yes. So and but that's what I'm about to do. That's that.
Yeah. Yeah. And I don't want to drop kick this. Right.
We love it. We love it. I hate things so far in our almost three years. Yeah.
We would really like to have more. Yeah. We want people. Hate us.
Yeah. We're not sick that way. Exactly. You know.
I'm not speaking. Call me. Yeah. But that was smart.
Talk. There's so much more. Like how we're talking about this movie is kind of a touch on it's a milestone movie for a lot of people like when we went and saw back to the future at the classic showcase. It's like a smart.
There was a family in front of us. They have a look at it with them. I almost guarantee you it's probably that case first time I've seen them. Isn't that just the perfect way to introduce them?
Yeah. In the future. Isn't that the future? Yeah.
And I'm really hoping that that's what's going to I know I'm sorry if I keep going back to this but they're just so hand in hand. When when Ghost Buster's gets re-released for its real big thing because they're doing something when they're working in the deleted scenes or something like that. No for that literally. But not.
I think no no no no no no. According to Ernie Hudson. Yeah. He says that they're going to release the first movie with the deleted scenes.
Oh shit. This is what he said. Yeah. He said that a director told me after the Niagara Falls.
Now he could be misunderstanding and thinking that it's the you know the special never before seen features of Ghostbusters 2. This is where I stand in but he has said it twice. And that's what he said at the Niagara Falls. That'd be awesome.
That's what I could only hope for too. Like we can say we went inside. And this is like probably I think probably third time they've shown back to the future and the class of movie showcase. I think each time I've been to it.
Yeah. And it's just it's a fun one to touch up on. One thing I guess we're well okay. Can we tell into you know we were talking about toys.
Talk about the actors. How about story? Oh yes. Definitely.
I was going to cover something else before we were talking about that family. That's the one thing I realized that the kid was probably the first time they they've seen it. I was like oh my god I talked to him. I got to talk to him.
And that's the reason I got to was I made sure like oh hey. And past Edina there's this place called the Gamblas. That's Doc Brown's house. Go check it out.
And they seemed very tickled. Yeah they were saying excited to do it. And that's the one cool thing about fandom. When you talk to the right people and everything you tell them like those little pieces of info like they've never like before I even knew about the Gamblas.
Like if I would have been like I really would like to see Doc Brown's house or some kind of set to the back of the future. And then I found out about the Gamblas. I'm like oh I'm going. Yeah it's kind of like if you know I'd love to go see like the the interior the house I was just for the interior of the firehouse and go especially.
I'd love to go visit that puppy. Oh yeah that's um you know but that's that's up on blocks and who knows maybe it'll be used again. Like the car plate is not there because I thought that I was like yeah sorry let's jump into the story of Back to the Future. Oh well a little question for you.
You want a piece of history now? Are you going to get over here? I don't think so because nobody saw us do it because we're going to go ahead. You got to tell me.
I got to tell me. I was recently me and our friend Doug. I went down to I took a carpool ride with Doug to his work because I had to see some past university videos. Save some money.
I jumped the ride with him. He dumped me on the university as he went to work for the day. I went to Universal. He picked me up.
And I went up. Like before he went to work and I went to Universal we went to the gamble house and I took my Doc Brown Funko. So we took picture with all of them in the house with the Doc Brown Funko holding in and everything. Mean bull dorks.
It's all dorks as we could be because we're the include dorks. Yeah of course we are. Of course we are. Because we're there man.
Yeah and when you took a picture the book there's a bookstore next to the g because we're looking at like how the security doors are down these big wooden doors that they use to close up when they're closed. Like this is it. So we're like okay let's get them on go back out. Take some pictures.
We tried to stand up on the bus somewhere. Get a good shot of it. There was a loose brick nearby near the gamble house. So we took the brick, set it down.
Took the pictures and everything and we got ready to leave and it's like pick the brick. Pick the brick. I was like get down. We twice.
We built it for the car. So you have a piece of the gamble house. Well then right now we're going to be in a process of getting it in four ways. There's right but right now there's a cush to anything.
Oh no it's not like getting his car. I know I love that. So all four of us in the core group. Oh I'll get a piece of history here.
That is cool. All right now we've got two limitations. It's a brick. You can't find us.
And it's four ways. Yeah and as we leave the only person I was there because we were there early. We were there doing sweet. Cleaning up area.
He probably saw something. They got 100 of these bricks. I could have brick out last week. Yeah just fucking with us.
To us it's the piece of history. It's a piece of Americana man. So now we can delve into the story. I don't know what you do on this.
Oh no no no no no. Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. The story basically falls around the life of Marty Kly. Like my Michael K.
Fox and he gets called to the Twin Pine Mall at first. Yeah. To help us spread out ground with a certain experiment. Yeah.
We learned about Marty's life and everything kind of the whole home life. Oh and I don't know if you noticed this but you kind of get all of Doc's life. And the very beginning of the class. Yeah.
There's all these newspaper articles that are telling you the tragic story of the Doc Brown fortune lost and all this. All this is on this. I can notice those really before. Oh yeah it's just a little.
That's kind of showed you the how this movie is because you don't see that anymore in credits. It's all the credits. It's pretty much you know sit down the news starts. It's not you sit down and you're brought into the moon.
Yeah you get told what's going on. Like the last movie that really did anything like that was the watch. Exactly. I know I am.
I'm looking with the watch. But that open credits sequence in the watchman was freaking beautiful. Yeah. But also to this open sequence for back to future gives you everything you know.
Oh man. Yeah. All those little things. He's clearly left everything on.
Yeah. But he's called into the Twin Pines. The Twin Pines. But like I said we learned about Marty's life.
His parents are kind of. Oh yeah. He's still being pushed by his fire. His fire.
He's fired. So being put around by his old ISIL belief. Who is now? Who is now?
His supervisor. Yeah. Which is always a weird thing. And then you just learn about life and everything.
But then that night Marty had to do the Twin Pines law for Doc's experiment where he learns he figured out time travel. Yeah. He has finally figured it out. He has finally put all all the things there and he's there to test it.
So when he goes to test it. Most people know this. To get the point across of how time travel works. He takes the machine and he makes it go 88 miles per hour.
He puts his dog in there. Yeah. He puts his dog in there. Yeah.
He puts his dog in there. He puts his dog in there and does the experiment which leaves two trails of leaning tire tracks in. The signature tires. And then you get it.
You're going to see some serious shit. Yes. And then he got the out of time license plate. And this is where I love where the reality goes.
Middle G box just doing his thing. Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. He just said right now.
It's not. Yeah. What's going on? Anybody else will be like, oh, cool.
No, we'll be probably reacting the same way. No, exactly. What the hell am I involved with? I just recorded this shit.
Oh my God. I'm a homeless. Yeah. There's all this that's going on.
And then when he brings up the whole thing, it's like, no, no, it's when the hell are they? Yeah. And then he goes, what I've done is set them two minutes into the future. And how it works is they're in the middle shooting shit.
He's talking about how, well, I thought if you're going to make a time for a machine to work hard, why not go with the style? And besides the type of thing you're about to deal with some serious plot reasons why this suckers in the lawyer and then the car appears two minutes later, which is the time that he sent the answer. It's really fine. The thing's covered in frost.
And then the dog goes into the whole thing that's factored. It's nuclear. Yeah. It runs out of plutonium.
Yeah. And cute. The lizards. Yes.
The people that he got plutonium from, they come, they kill Doc. They shoot him down. And Marty, Marty, Marty, Marty's only escape is the lawyer. So he gets in there, but when he gets in the car, he activates the time circus.
Now, he's about to go into 1955. And the reason he does this is because Doc brought it back to the future. He was going in the future. Yeah.
He was going in the future. Yeah. He was going in the future. Yeah.
He was going in the future. Yeah. He was going back to Senate. He was showing Marty how to use the thing.
He goes and a date just talked to his head. And it was November 15, 1955. That was when he fought the time trial. And he was already programmed in.
Okay. So he goes up to 88 and he travels instantly. And he hits this time. He was great.
He runs into a scarecrow. And he's like, oh, I'm catching them in the barn in the day where in 1955 where it's like, huh. And this is, if I remember correctly, I was a point of trivia, which will cover one of the trivia, like, oh yeah. He lands onto the, the pine farm.
Yes, the 25th one. Which later, he destroys the wild pine tree. And it becomes the single pine farm. The long pine farm.
Yeah. If you don't, if you have that, notice that it's because it's a very subtle thing to miss. In the beginning, when he first shows up to the 25th one, you see the big sign gives the time to win pine fall. And he's heading back to try to save Doc from the shooting.
It's not a long time. All three of the movies have those little, little details that are just so much fun. Yeah. And that's another thing that makes a movie so awesome.
We'll double onto that. We are going to do that. But yeah. And he gets back into town and everything bitches the dolary.
Because you're not exactly the role in through town and forget the lorry. No, exactly. And he's out of gas. And he's out of gas.
Yeah. He's out of, he's out of plutonium. He's out of gas. He can't get back.
He is stuck. So we get him in the 1955 version of deli where he meets his dad. Yep. He runs into his father.
Yes. And then he runs into the Goldie Wilson setting him on his path to the mirror. Right. Right.
And Goldie Wilson used to work at the diner at the mopjock. Yep. And the worst thing that happens is the thing that was supposed to make his parents meet. Yeah.
He pushes. Yeah. He intervenes. And his mother winds up falling in love for him.
Which is, oh, it's empty. And the thing is, you know, not thinking about it because he doesn't really know what to understand. What he is not yet not prehanded. What he's done.
Yeah. As far as he was concerned, he was trying to save his dad. Exactly. And then also too.
He's looking at his dad. Well, he's a purf. Yeah. I was sorry.
So he was not in his right frame of mind. But then he goes, you know, to meet up with that, try to convince him that he has this thing. And he goes, oh, I'll just get here. He goes, wait a minute.
Was there anything that you haven't done? I kind of ran into my parents. Oh, and then that's where he goes. Oh, let me see your, you know, picture of your family.
We're noticing that members of the family are starting to vanish from the photo. Yes. And this is where things already are. Yeah.
Marty has is in the process of changing time and time is changing with him to where he may not exist. Yeah. So, so, so this is stuff that I would be so true around time. And that sets the bar for all time travel movies.
Yes. Because all of them are, yeah, all of them do this because there's always something else that happens. And this is the bar. Well, honestly, too, the only time travel would be ever seen that purposely screws with time with a positive out.
What on his quantum weight? Oh, no. Quantum weight TV series. I'm talking about a movie.
Okay. Hot time machine. And it took them a long many years to decide to do it. Right.
Because they needed to be done correctly. Yes. For hot time, I think I said it was done tugging cheek, but it was correctly that it had to be a comedic aspect of it. You can't do a really dramatic movie or really like that.
Which is comedy drama action and screw time and then be like, yeah, we're good. Yeah. It can't be done that way. I still have to see hot time.
It's okay. I know. Well, that's what's that. It's okay.
Okay. Let's go. It's a good watch. I'll let it go.
It won't be a why not. But I got at least all these on. Yeah, exactly. And then after the intervention with Doc, then realizing, okay, we got to make sure your parents meet.
Yeah. And well, basically, that's the whole setup, you know, of all this happening in the process. You know, we all have to, you know, to this little adventure, he's trying to make sure, hey, ask Lorraine now, he's trying to make sure that this happens. And every time like George McFly gets close to doing it, something happens where Marty or Count McFly, now he's known, is more prominent in Lorraine Vise and leads to the prom night.
Yeah. And this is the night where they have to meet otherwise, it's the end of Marty. They have to kiss at this. The champion of the scene.
The champion of the scene, yeah. So I'm glad you're popping in with all the detail. So they go in and they do this. And now Beth being drunk, he comes in and he takes Marty out of the picture because they originally, they were going to stage a fight.
Yeah. And that kind of scene was kind of really interesting part to when George and Marty are saying they're talking about the plan for the night. Yeah, because he's going to fill up his mom and get on his body. He's going to do this to the main itself.
He saves his own skin and he's like, okay, I got to do this. And he's so reluctant to do it. He doesn't want to do it. And he's going to hold that guy.
