Why not me (w/ band)

Why not me Static Method Download This version was recorded on Tape 16, an app that forces me to practice… a LOT. It doesn’t let you edit your recording… it just emulates perfectly a 1980s reel to reel tape recorder. You really have to know what your arrangement is when you start and you commit to choices early. By contrast, I have an AI recorded version here. So it seems that the teams are all picked And I’m the last of the cans that you kicked But I can write a melody And I can strum three chords and sing in key So tell me why, why not me It’s funny that you say we’re alive And it’s sad cause you know it’s a lie Crazy how we tell ourselves a story about all our stupid why’s Well here’s one more, why not I Why is irrelevant, ask me Who and How Where is your reverence for the here and now Which room has The Elephant, who’s your sacred cow How many pray for one day of your pain You say that the world is a mess But I betcha that you have to confess The one who quits before it’s through Looks a little bit like you know who So tell me why, why not you But you just kept bitchin’ at the gig last night Crying cause it didn’t seem right You ask me why I don’t agree You got no pot to piss in cant you see Now we know why, why not we Why is irrelevant, ask me who and how Where is your reverence for the here and now Which room has The Elephant, who’s your sacred cow How many pray for one day of your pain So when it seems that the teams are all picked And you’re the last of the cans that they kicked Go and write a melody Strum your chords and sing that song in key Tell ‘em why, Wynonna why, why the hell not me
