Welcome back to the "Hey Girl! You Got This Podcast" with Hannah and Jori, where every episode is a journey of faith, friendship, and empowerment. In this exhilarating installment, exploring the transformative power of community, courage, and course correction on your God adventure.WELCOME BACK, tribe! It's been a long time—too long.If you’re ready to get honest, real, and have a good talk, turn up the volume and welcome to the conversation. Jori, if I could title our talk today, I would title it, “Why not today?”I want to take us to an interesting passage:Galatians 6:4: “Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.”The context of this scripture is Paul teaching believers that to help carry others' burdens, we have to lay down something very important: conceit. If we are more consumed and concerned with ourselves, we won’t be free or available to see the needs of others. Paul is calling Christians to have the discipline of evaluating themselves—checking in and being honest about how they are doing. He is calling Christians to pay attention to their own work—their own souls—and not judge themselves against others. So, how does this connect to experiencing joy and satisfaction today? Could it be that the reason you are struggling with joy today is because somewhere in your heart, you are focused more on how your life measures up to others', leading you to miss the very satisfaction God has for you right now?Why not experience deep joy and satisfaction TODAY??We can, but we are going to have to be honest about what is stealing it. We need to step back and take an honest look at ourselves.Bible Study Bible Gateway: https://www.biblegateway.com/Galatians 6:4 NLT > Matthew Henry Commentary10 Day Challenge EncouragementWatch Father's Day At Thrive on our YouTube Channel - @iamthrivechurchhttps://youtube.com/live/vMpDcBn0ss8?feature=shareJoin the conversation and connect with us:Explore more at Flourishwomen.coFollow Pastor Hannah Ouellette on Instagram: Instagram linkFollow Jori Shaver on Instagram: Instagram linkFollow Flourishwomen on Instagram: Instagram linkFor an immersive experience, tune in to Flourish's YouTube channel: Flourish YouTubeLet's embark on this journey together as we celebrate authenticity, growth, and the pursuit of God's purpose in our lives.
