Depression is a motherfucker, but there is help out there. I urge you that if you are depressed and have thoughts of suicide, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255. And if that's not there, I'd also like to support the Trevor Foundation. You can find them at TrevorFoundation.org.

This is Nicholas Dye from Nowhere, California, and the ActoPod. Remember, there is help out there, and you are not alone. You can always get your Nowhere, California, fixed by going to Nowhere, California.com. And you can send your Fox ideas or some random bullshit to our email, which is Nowhere, Undersport, California, at yahoo.com.

Don't forget, we are Nowhere, California. Ideas from everywhere, voices from Nowhere, since 2001. No, no, no, no. There's no way that after all of the shit you put me through, these lies, I'm not going to be part of this one.

We are doing one. You and... Hey, hey, hey. You and I'll get one.

We're going to do one. So I guess this is your double feature. God damn it. There it is, Josh.

Isn't it? And welcome to the second screening for this year's Double Feature Wise. The second screening. If you suck around for the first row, but you're going to hang around for the second row, you might want to hang around for the second row.

You might want to hang around for the second row. You need therapy. Grab some popcorn, call your therapist, hug somebody. Smoke if you got them.

Because as you heard in the first part of this, every year, Nowhere, California has the traditional Y. And it sure is wise. I know. Why for?

Yeah, wise. It started out as kind of a spin-off episode of our movie discussions of Why Not, where we discuss movies that we love, that may have fallen on the radar. Absolutely. And then some brain wig, broad in my brain, and like, oh, watch a shitty movie.

Yes, we could do two. We could watch shitty movies and discuss those. You know, it's funny. This is one of those, well, in my opinion, and really, that's all that matters in this fucking opinion, is this is one of the positive things that comes out of COVID.

We didn't want to get everybody crammed into one area to do our annual Y. So why do we deal with it? We just did two of them. He's all gimme about it, and I'm the one that has to watch both of these movies.

But also two of them. You are both these movies. Go fuck yourself. Well, I take it.

At some point, you've been sitting in this room naked watching Mortal Kombat Annihilation. And just like, man, the fucking Motaro scene was so boss. I just want to know your commentary, man. I'm not sure.

I can't wait. I can't wait. I take great pride in trying to find those right movies for you guys to torture you. Well, you know, look, hey, like I said, we started this off with the apple.

We moved on to call we could prayer. We went to class. When we dove into the commentary realm. Yes, when we were in the commentary realm of our wives, and now this year, you're giving me head.

I'm going to. I need to get you to remember that. I know Josh gave me head. You're going to hear that joke throughout this commentary.

Well, now monkeys and Jackness. Well, they're all even say this right now. One of the main reasons I didn't even call this movie head was in the hopes for a sequel to put on the poster from the guys that gave you head. And then we think about that.

Like in the, in the, I think it's probably early 70s, maybe mid 70s or something like that. And then we jump ahead and I'm looking at your poster of Zack and Marie Makeaporno and how they had to axe that stuff out. And you know, I'll have to get any poster that make the stakes. And then the, well, yeah, exactly.

And then, you know, we think about Kevin Smith, you know, like a couple of dicks. Yeah. And so, it was more of a period of time back in the 70s where people had been like, what did it mean by that? It was very sexual revolution fueled by mind expanding drugs.

And which ran rampant throughout the writing of this movie. The fact that you said it was Jack Nicholson and the monkeys on a drug fueled fucking trip in Joshua Tree. Holy shit. I'm excited about this.

I am too. It's been a while since I've watched it and it kind of retreading heads history with nowhere back in the early days when he filled it the bad movie swap I gave him and he gave me Joel Rama. It's not a, that's not a V.D. folks.

It's an actual movie. Yeah. And I was like, Joel Rama's fine. You know, I said it on live cast.

I will say it again. I have never, never have I seen Philip Morgan just lose his fucking cool over film. And there's, we've made jokes about it in the past over our 10 year. We've made jokes about this guy, damn movie and Phil just almost is the guy who had the board meeting just pounds his fist on the table.

I was like, that's enough. We're not talking about this anymore. We're talking about the Christmas party. He hates this movie.

So I'm excited just for that. Yeah. So honestly, there's only one real thing left to do. Give me a head.

Okay. Normally we get it's preset to where we have the counter going and everything like that. But like six zeros and a one. We're on the menu right now.

Because this is fucking magical. This looks like somebody made this in their like middle school video production class. Yes. Using windows like 98.

Yeah. It's fantastic. So it almost looks like, do you remember the three series video game? Oh, yeah.

So where it had actual pictures of the guys, it was like overlaid with, you know, so many bits or whatever. That's kind of what this is where it looks like digitized pictures of the guys just cut and pasted into the into the chairs. Yeah. Super fucking weird.

But I can't wait. There's scenes, music, cameos and trailers. Yeah. So we may have to explore a little bit more after the movie.

I'm not against that. Yeah. Because I'd like to see what some of the cameos are like everything. Yeah.

So instead of telling you what time we're starting, we're on the main menu. Yeah. We're about to click movie. We're about to click movie, which I'm guessing means play movie.

So in three, two and one. Okay. Some red cloth. Silk.

Sudden. Some hairy knuckles. Mom. Who doesn't mean it's Johnny Law.

I know that guy. Oh, I fucking got it. I know. I know that guy.

He was the, if that's John St. Dennis, he was the pastor of our church for a while. Oh, wow. Before he passed away.

Yeah. I knew him really well. He was in a lot of movies. But is this chips?

Because that's California. Yeah. No, I think this is, if I remember the movie correctly, it's a bridge opening. Okay.

Yeah. All right. I did one of these when I worked for the radio stations. This is pretty legit.

Ooh. It's a Lincoln Continental with them suicide doors. Yeah. I was going to say, what kind of doors is that?

And pretty sure it's a suicide door. Yes. Oh. Oh.

Shitty helicopter flying around. I'm just going to get the budget for all this. They never opened the genuine bridge. Yeah.

Do you mind if we film? Yeah. Oh, you know, there's going to be different answers where they, oh, that's where the budget went. Wow, you got like the national, the national guard.

You know, as we start watching this, there's a cold chill going up, Phil Spine. There's something unbalanced in the world. There's something there's a disturbance in the forest. I guess I can talk right now because Nick's still trying to figure out what the fuck's going on.

Who's thinking logically, like, is his teeth causing the feedback? It's like the mayor. Cause this is the movie where it's going to be... How this joke's going on a little too long.

Yeah. Or you just don't know what the fuck is going on. And if there's anybody out here there right now watching along, good on you. I know I'm going to say that a lot on mostly encounters, but if you own head or track down a copy of it, seriously contact us at nowhere.

Or call for me at yawty.com and get a little spotlight on you. Can you see Mickey Dolan? Yeah, that's right. Okay.

So there's a monkey's running across the bridge, look like he was running like and running a marathon. Yeah. And what are you doing? So they're running down the bridge, almost like they're running from somebody, they keep looking over their shoulders.

Uh, Mickey's just a straight up athlete, by the way. I figured it was going to be Michael Nesmith. Oh, they're jumping off the bridge. Yeah.

Holy shit. Don't lay like that. In this song right now, it's called the porpoisson. What's the porpoisson that?

It's really cool. It's not really to do. Weirdly etheric. Yeah.

He's just going to flow into the air, waiting to hit the water. That's a dummy in a van. Yeah, clearly a mannequin. Hey, no water in the LA harbor that looks that clear.

This is probably the universal tank. This is the, yeah, yeah. God, they love their music. Yeah, it's one of my favorite song others.

And, uh, unknowingly until I finally saw this movie. Yeah, I didn't know it was the other suicide thing. But he's not good, I think. Uh, drums are kicking in.

Oh, yeah. There's the negatives. Oh, yeah. Maybe next year we do this and we just, you know, take the LSD and take the rod.

This will be our why that turns into a why not. Yeah. I'll look, there's Ariel and somebody else. Some mermaids coming at him.

Wow, those core really look like that. I think that's a purpose. Okay. All right.

Or since it's still on porpoisson. Wow. And if anything is, this is considered rated G. Okay.

I mean, there's nothing that's really, yeah, there's nothing really drastic in this movie. Oh my god. Oh, we have like, Go Go Boobs or anything? No.

It's pretty much rated G, but it's still on the poster is not suitable for children. Can we, can we just get to next to this? Yeah. This is like the monkey's version of octopus's garden.

Yeah. By the Beatles. Well, this was on the tail end of the series too. Like, I believe.

It was right after the show ended. Yeah, it was basically I canceled and like, we're still doing the movie. Why? Well, you have to understand these guys were not legit musical.

Like, they didn't have instrument, they didn't play instrument. No, no, no, no. And when they first started to watch a lot of their stuff. They had musical background, but nothing there was to the fact that like, they weren't like a band band.

And that's the thing that one after the show got canceled and they still stuck together as a band, they wanted to be took in seriously and not be something unique. All right. So you're just in Jessica Beale? It's not her, but she'll just be Bill's great grandma.

Man, look at that hair. The light blue on the eyes. Girls of 1670s were sexy as hell. And then I remember there's a bush in there.

Oh, okay. So Mickey's getting kisses. Get in theasm of, get it. Wait, those sideburns.

Dude, those are always magical. Him and those, those, as the Canadians call him, Tukes he would wear on it. It'll be. Yeah.

Oh. Go over here, some Peter. Yeah, I think she just works her way around. Yep.

There's Peter Torque. Rest in peace, sir. Wow. You see why it's not visible for you?

I was thinking about this on it. Just so we don't repeatedly question the timeframe of this movie and everything. It was in 1968. Are you?

What? Yeah. This movie was released in 1968. Why did I think the monkeys were set in the early 70s for summary?

Okay. So this makes a little more sense for the free look. This is just on the cusp of this psychedelic 70s. And that's where I was just working the room.

So all the guys got a little action. Yeah. And she got a lot of free love going on here. Now she needs to get some mouthwash.

A monkey breath. Did they just run a train on her? Maybe. Then maybe eluded and she was pretty much like, yeah, Mike, you're okay.

Okay. Okay. Was that weird? Yeah.

Where's my son in her hair? She said are you kidding? Sure. It was big enough, right?

I'm gonna tell you a quick little photo of the watch. First of all, that ties, tied way too fucking short. Oh, here we go. Here's something you listenin.

Wow. If you're not watching it, wait until this whole, almost, okay. Mine's belling. It was very much like a, like a mad hatter tea party kind of with the moon rhyme and all that stuff.

It's not that war. Okay. So this is clearly a protest of the Vietnam war, Vietnam conflict as they would have called it about this time. Drop a napalm.

We just saw something get shot in the head. Yeah. Well, that was the whole thing. The whole sequence went through.

They sing their little song and at the very end it shows some of the kind of roughest stuff shooting somebody in the head and the girls screams. And then it segues into their fan screaming. I think it's our trip trippers. Yeah, so why?

You wear a helmet. Okay. Then visible cockwitches are attacking. Okay, that was weird as hell.

It is an open legend or has it been proven that Mike Nesmith is the heir to whiteout? You know what I actually don't know the answer that. The only thing I know is that he was a stock car driver. Yeah.

Okay, football, linebacker just came out of nowhere, tackled Peter Tort. Well, like from Notre Dame. Looks like Notre Dame. Yeah.

You got a gun, shoot him. Oh, he's out of that mocancin. Wow. In the middle war is in game over.

Game over, man. Hey, mother. Michael Nesmith is the sergeant in command here. And Phil, he may have brought this sequence.

Now, Mickey's wearing football helmets. That is regular helmet. And the football players still? Football players, yeah, back on gert.

I think I was football players. Me, heads. Send your hate mail to us via Nick Close to IZ Melders. Uh-huh.

Which is Philip underscore Morgan at f**ku.com. We should put his email. Send no questions about it. Yeah.

Another tunnel. Okay, so we made a tunnel down there. I don't know what people screaming their heads out. Probably another life concert that had decided to shoot.

Another in white? Okay. All the girls are screaming their white, which is very indicative of like the 60s and stuff. There we go.

So should I find a musical for you for next year again or? Right. It's pretty good. Oh.

More stock footage. This girl is freaking out over Michael Nesmith singing, which is not common. Yeah, he usually does the bass player. I feel like most correct you're on this one.

Peter was a bass player. Ah, Michael's lead. I'll leave you dark. I'm not musical knowledge.

Oh, I just love the monkeys, man. I love the monkeys. I love the monkeys. I don't know instruments, but I grew up with that cable and this crap was on cenication.

Oh, yeah. It was all loop. Nick and I, there was a whole bunch of downloads that happened. And ever since then any time I've come across like some random channel with a monkey's marathon, I always have to check it out a little bit.

There's a girl screaming her brains out, man. Yeah. And that was, so, let me see. So if I remember Mickey played drums and he was also keyboard, maybe Peter played keyboard?

Yeah. And then David Jones, who was kind of like the face of the monkeys, that he was, he was pretty much percussion. Tamboring, Maracas, whatever it might be. He's killing some Maracas right now.

Two, filling the gap on the earlier question about the Whiteout. Okay. On December, in 1951, Bet, Nezmeth Graham invented liquid paper and Bet is Mike Nezmeth's mom. So he is the heir to the Whiteout.

Yeah. Wow. That was always like a running token, but it was still kind of like, is he? And then it was fine to reveal.

That's the main reason when the monkeys did tours and nine times that's in Mike, we never go. Because why? I mean, you can have up. Okay.

So now the monkeys are being torn apart and you need to look like mannequins or mannequins. The fans of all rest are staged. There's a mannequin of- And tear on the part. Oh, that's Bellagosa.

Back to it's written everything. If I remember correctly towards the end of, I think, either David's life or Peter's life, Mike went out a little bit more often, almost in kind of a, uh, chismic thing of knowing it may be the answer for somebody. So we just got a gliss around a little Reagan. Yeah.

Channel flipping. Look like Bors-Carloft. Look at those moves. Okay.

She's probably dead. 666 on the car. That's funny. So they're wandering the desert.

What'd that do for? It's got an obnoxious hairy belly button. Yeah. Oh, turturtrow, right?

Well, no, it's just kind of like a smattering along his chestline. It's just, oh, it took his money. Yeah. Oh, yeah.

I think a vending machine in Illinois is probably frequented a lot. Wow, dude. Mickey really gets into his effect. What he's doing is weird little flippy flippings.

Oh, okay. So this is like Dumont Dunes. And then it's product placement. Cokes.

Hey, what do you want to be in your movie? Okay, we'll just make it some weird fucking portion of the movie. You just want to argue with the woman voice I said? Well, that's a smart key.

I could just even play Joker. Yeah. Or one of those random one off Batman. 666 villains.

The dibler or the tippler. I don't know. There's a whole name. Some heavy duty tracks over there.

Okay. So it's supposed to be like a raving night or something. Yeah. Yeah, this must have been shot like probably in our area.

Oh. Drug delivery. So, no, I don't think that's right. Sorry.

There's just some random nude. Okay. There's Panzer Tank. Well, it's Italian.

So I'm not a fan. Now, maybe the reason they were able to do a lot of this shit, they mean it was Don't Disinitley. So weird. Italian Tank Division Commander.

Have you found an American? Yeah. Oh, it's a monkey. So he found this person.

No, he's explaining everything that's happened in Italian. And Mickey's just like what? Oh, so he turned over and he's surrendering. He doesn't want to fight.

Okay. What the hell? Everybody's surrendering to Mickey. And now they're going to just wander into the desert.

It's Mickey Moses. It's a lot of people in this Tank Division. Oh my God. Where were at so far?

But where would you rank this right now in our Y history? I'll put this in a solid too. Yeah. I'm still sticking by the apple.

Yeah. I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did and I do. And it's not as shitty as we could bear. Oh, God, no.

I don't even know. If you're going to ask me to try to figure out which one shitty or cats or wicked prayer, fuck. That's difficult. Okay.

During the decision making of the double feature, I almost got Doug to agree to do cats. Okay. That was kind of funny. That was kind of funny.

Now he's. He's going to pay back on publishing. He's going to spun the turn of the Italian tank around and shot the Coke machine. Oh, belly dancers.

All right. Yeah. Very mysterious. And the boys still getting some kind of thing.

Can you dig it? It's pretty cool. Yeah. It's a good soundtrack.

My mom has the album. Whoa, whoa, whoa. She's legit doing that but it's messing me up. Like I think it was like the same year that I handed this off the bill.

My mom found the album again and I was like, can I? She had the album with it? Yeah. Really?

Yeah. I was like, can I borrow this? Wrap it and sneak it into Phil's house for Christmas. I got a look.

I see what's on my team. Oh, yeah, it should be. Do, do, do, do. I know the, the purpose song is on the monkey's greatest hits.

That's where I got it from from iTunes. But I'm pretty sure like at least some version of the head soundtrack should be there. It is not. Oh, wow.

But that could be that I haven't gone far enough. Yeah. So that's definitely one to have in your physical collection just out. So I'm going to go, why do you have this?

I don't think that's hookah. That they're smoking. And from the looks on the guy's faces, I don't think it's marijuana either. There it is.

Yeah. That's the album. Silver cover. Pull my finger.

I could have been taking it really differently. Now we're in our western. Mike's dang a bloom. What the hell is happening?

I don't. Did you just keep jumping into the picture wound and already? Yeah. Well, I think we just a little flick of the rest.

You threw a knife at him. Oh. Breaking the fourth wall. Breaking the fourth wall.

Just tore through the backdrop. Oh, he's probably not playing, but probably Davey knows how to do that. Group meeting? Retired of this bullshit?

Kind of looks like what's his name from transformer. Yeah. It's like supposed to be Abraham Lincoln? No.

I don't think Liam Neeson. I mean, a head of drugs. I know we do. Like, what is he supposed to be?

This is the right amount of room I'm guessing. Okay, got an N. Shouldn't go by mirror. Drop a flower pot to give his attention.

Give him all man a heart attack. Oh, we're supposed to be on set. Okay. Okay.

I'm going to go ahead and get him. I'm going to go ahead and get him. I'm going to go ahead and get him. Give him all man a heart attack.

Oh, we're supposed to be on set. Okay. What's it, dude, right? No.

Oh, she's got the Ringo Star. Okay. So she said are you paying tribute to Ringo Star? I had mentioned earlier that the Dolphin's sent like octopus's garden.

Oh, yeah. Ringo Star wrote that. Okay. That's kind of funny.

Yeah, good line. Wait, wait, wait, wait. I want to forget you just as you are. There we go.

But I can't mean how that can view the shit out of you. Okay. So here's the weird part. Let me see here.

Is he getting some good licks in there? So here's the weird part. And I don't know why. But Sonny Liston is wearing the same trunks that Muhammad Ali was wearing when he knocked him out in the famous second minute of the second round from 1965, I believe.

And I could have been a contender with an English accent. Davey Jones is wearing the trunks that Sonny Liston wore when he got beat up by Muhammad Ali. So it's definitely not a bad one. I mean, because it only happened a couple of years early.

But like you can clearly see right there like the, yeah, they're wearing the exact same trunks. The famous photo right there. Yeah. And now we're back to this.

The soup. Which I wonder if this had something to do with like the three stooges because there's a whole incredibly plate or if Larry Playpop goes the wheel on the violin then clearly can win. There's a net. Fun fact, my dad had a major crush on her.

I get it. She's cute. Yeah. I'm freaking in F and Jell is freaking hot back in the day.

Wrecking for a champ. Wrecking for heavyweight or whatever. Wrecking for a dream. No last ask.

Yep. No work California where you can get a monkey's commentary with the reference of Wrecking for a dream asked ask. So the dress like mobsters. Man in bed against Avie.

Yeah. Man that is a terrible platinum wig that chicks are. Yeah. And Mickey freaking out.

Yeah. Mickey seems to be the one on like the psychedelics and everything and Mike seems to be Stonewall. And he just popped him in the mouth. So you're a percutter.

Yeah. Yeah. Mickey's tripping balls. And that was the thing about the monkeys.

The appeal was kind of the, he was the comic relief. He was the pacifist. He was the comic foil. And now we're back to the Melton ice cream.

Peter's here. Peter got up and sucked her. Yeah. There it is a dude.

You're right. There's Jack. Yep. There was Jack.

And he was a makeup artist. No, I think he was there as a writer. So I'm assuming that's the director with the neckerchief. Yeah.

Bob whatever. There you go. You can be a writer. All right.

Cut out the film and make it on the poster. As we watch this I'm kind of like yeah I can see why Phil lost his mind on this. I don't see the deep seated. Hey.

Oh yeah. No, I don't understand hatred. Is this the dandruff scene we're coming up on? I believe so.

You know the hair scene? Yes. Yeah. So it was very weird because Peter's like man it's going to ruin my image and things like that.

And then everybody ran away from him. So I was not there singing it. Now he's just walking earth like King and Kung Fu. You got a name for that Jules.

A bomb. Some of my favorite lines in that movie. I was watching that on Australia for coming to America and they talked about Samuel Jackson in it. I wonder if they're going to have him in the sequel.

That would be awesome. Even just like a quick throwaway cameo. Make him own that down or down because Robin now. I wasn't the biggest fan of the original and everything but I'm kind of down to the checking off the sequel.

I love the original. I love the original. I'm a good credit artist and I do for everything they did in that movie. Well all of that led to one of the greatest comedy movies ever made with Harlem Knights.

Oh yeah. And oh man. You can tell it's a musical interlude since we're talking about random shit again. Yes.

No, I think it's Mickey wondering her's now. He had a very interesting voice. Yeah. I said had.

I think he's a lot. No. I think it's Peter and Davy and I want to say that Mickey and Michael. No, Michael Pastor.

Do Michael Pastor? I believe so. No. Let's see.

Can I miss this? See Peter passed away in 2019. See Davy passing in 2012. I think he was the first of them.

Mickey's still alive born in 1945. So he's up there. And then Mike Nesmith. Don't want to know.

Yeah. Yeah. And Mike is still alive. My apologies Mr.

Nesmith. They did a really cool thing in the 80s where it was the, it was three of the monkeys and they were singing and we wish him Merry Christmas and it has the whole family together and all stuff. But Michael Nesmith, no where to be singing. That's like what I was talking about in the past.

He kind of had some issues with the life of it. At the end of it, there's another singing and the kids are all gathered around all the stuff. And if you're paying attention, you notice that Santa Claus is wearing a beanie. Oh, that's cool.

And he pulls down the beard at the end. And it's like, that's fucking right. And that's the cool thing. He wasn't actively involved in a lot.

But there were certain times, especially when they were on tour, he'd randomly show up and perform with him. Because why would he have to worry about it? He has white out money. I think that's what this commentary is going to be.

There you go. This commentary brought you by white out. Or actually, if you want to be technical, liquid paper. Since we had Corona sponsored the cat's commentary.

I just don't know how she fucking invented it. I don't know how to get across him. Okay. Oh, this is all we went from this natural expanse to everything being commercial.

Okay, so I see where they're going with that. This looks like the Hoover Dam. He's the new guy. He's been out there for about four hours.

They're in the 60s racing uniforms. They could be heading to the... What the hell? TV studio of Willy Wonka and Choc the factory.

True. So these are early computers. Oh, wow. Descent to love.

It's a good falloff. I can't be so calm, Pete. It'd be eight. Bloody Mary.

Choc the Mote. Yeah. See which? They are Wompa bars.

Yeah. And I think I know who that dude is, but I don't remember a name. So I'm going to stay quiet. It's not a Nash episodes.

So there's a bunch of weird shoot happening and they just try to get up his attention. No one's paying attention. They was like, what the fuck? They're like, what?

Okay, this is the hair scene. This is the damn drifting. You can only imagine how much drugs a person would need to take to be like, who have a scene where the guys are jumping and bouncing around on a bunch of hair. It's got a very Disney-winnies-the-poo song kind of feel.

Yeah. That's Tony, no. No, a producer dude. Yeah.

The kids' days and pictures. Yes. Yeah, they're really... Yeah, they're inside a vacuum.

Yeah. They had to stay high during the filming of this movie, too. Scish cigarette butts. I was going to be like, how are you singing?

It's freaking new hope. I want to know what golf, what a vacuum cleaner in the 60s was sucking up golf keys. Buttons. You got a client out of there?

And like we talked about with cats, there was a prop master that had to build all this shit. I went to school for art for some years. I made a giant tack. That was kind of dirty.

Yeah. Little dirt, but kind of fine too. One little Peter be the one on top. He's always in the middle, man.

I was like, pulling. So, Davey, jump free. It's on a weird, like, black sound stage. He's probably just glad not to be kidding.

He was asking about you listening. Oh, okay. So, you get behind the wall, it comes back out. Now, he's...
