Why on Earth Am I Struggling With My Christian Life? (Part 1) Knowing and Reckoning Your Victory Over Sin

In this sermon, Adrian the Beloved takes us into why many struggle with their Christian lives. The heart of the message is clear: we must know and reckon our victory over sin. Scripture shows us that we are dead to sin and alive in Christ—this is the reality Christ’s sacrifice has secured for us. Struggles often arise when we live for pleasure or self, forgetting that we are no longer our own but belong to Christ.  The essence is this: victory over sin is not by our works, effort, or striving, but by grace through Christ’s finished work. We overcome not because of what we do, but because of what He has already done. To reckon ourselves dead to sin is to embrace the truth that His grace has set us free, and to live daily in dependence on Him. When we yield to Christ, we live fruitful Christian lives without the weight of struggle—resting in grace, not in self.
