Why Peace Feels Like Danger

from Christ-Centered Leaders Hosted by Tanya Tenica

Some people aren’t avoiding God’s peace on purpose. Their nervous system learned pain as home before their mind ever got a vote, so when real safety shows up, it reads as a threat instead of a gift. I’m breaking down why confirmation can’t land while someone is still in fight or flight, and what it actually takes for a person to become able to receive what was already being offered. Now let’s Regulate… Note this will be the beginning, but to find the baseline to a thing you have to seek the Lord and be honest with yourself. * Orient Yourself ( normally 60 secs, but I am walking you through) * The Sigh (2 Minutes) * Getting Vocal (2 minutes) * Let’s Receive There you go. Now you receive; you allow whatever thoughts to come. You can have a notepad, write them down, and do nothing with them. Just write it down and receive the downloads. Feel the present and allow yourself to feel. You can address what’s on your paper or heart after you take a moment to be aware and present. Allow the work to happen and the Lord to speak.
