Why Ruth | Inspired | 03

from West Coast Vineyard

When I read through the book of Ruth this week, one question came up that I never thought of before: WHY IS THE BOOK CALLED RUTH? That sounds like a silly question. Why not Naomi who is a prominent person in this book and an Israelite, amongst the women of Moab. Or even better, why is it not called Boaz? He is the hero (in today’s terms) who “saved the day”, so to speak. My conclusion is, there must be something about Ruth, that God wants to use to teach/inspire us in our walk with Him. It must be something important that she would be remembered in such a profound way. Join us as we dive into the life of Ruth.
