First, The plaintiff brings her sister to court. She says she and the defendant only recently found out they were related, and they moved in together. The plaintiff says she and the defendant got into an argument over cereal, and the defendant kicked the bumper off the plaintiff’s car. She’s suing for car damages. The defendant admits the fight started over cereal. She argues she is hormonal because she’s pregnant. She’s countersuing for emotional distress. Then, The plaintiff was best friends with the defendant and he was supposed to be the plaintiff’s best man — but never showed up. He then disappeared for 14 years. After they reconnected, the plaintiff loaned him money and was never repaid, so he’s suing. The defendant claims several family members have had serious health issues and he has been struggling. Plus, The plaintiff says the defendant is her daughter and they are both addicted to pain pills, and they both say they are desperate for help. The plaintiff is suing her daughter for an unpaid loan.
