Why some make it and others dont

What is the role of a parent if not to install confidence in the child.As a parent it's nit your job to discourage your child it's jour job to encourage them, when the fall to get back up, when they fail to try again. Many people who where kids become adults that have low self confidence, they don't believe they can do anything great.So they settle for mediocrity, they become part of the social fabric and then they die with all that potential and talent.
