Why Some Prayers Don’t Work Until the Heart Is Healed
from Prophetic Flow Hosted by Madra Bell | Author, Intercessor, Coach
Many believers are taught how to fight spiritual warfare, but few are taught how to walk through inner healing with Jesus. In this episode, Madra Bell discusses a powerful truth many Christians are beginning to discover: not everything in your life is a demon to cast out—some things are wounds that Jesus wants to heal. If you love the Lord but still struggle with emotional pain, recurring triggers, rejection wounds, or patterns that prayer alone hasn’t seemed to resolve, this episode will help you understand the role of inner healing in the believer’s life. You’ll learn practical, biblical steps to begin inviting Jesus into the places of your heart that may still be carrying pain from past experiences. Madra shares how unhealed wounds can affect your thoughts, emotions, and reactions—and how the Holy Spirit gently leads us into healing and restoration. In this episode, you will learn: • What inner healing really means from a biblical perspective • How to recognize when an issue may be a heart wound instead of spiritual warfare • Practical steps to invite Jesus into painful memories • How forgiveness and truth help close emotional wounds • Why God sometimes heals the heart in layers over time The same Jesus who saves us also heals the brokenhearted and restores the soul. If you’ve been praying for freedom but still feel stuck in certain areas, this conversation will encourage you to allow the Lord to bring healing to the deeper places of your heart.
