Why the Church? Confessing

This last Sunday we wrapped up our mini series, “Why the Church?” In this final week Alex walked us through what it means to be the Confessing Church. In this culturally strenuous time the Church finds her resistance through faithfulness to the truth. The goal at hand for the Church is not winning the culture war…it’s the same goal we’ve had from the beginning - reconciliation. Be strengthened in your faith that you stand in a long line of saints who have gone before you confessing truth in the face of unforgiving circumstances. The church becomes an alternate community worth following when we decide to live in the truth.
