The College Football Playoff committee just announced the dates and locations for the quarterfinal and semifinal locations for the 2026 and 2027 seasons and... well... they're kind of a mess. Why are they moving a quarterfinal game off of New Year's Eve... but only for one year?Why is there a nearly two-week break between the quarterfinal games and semifinal games?
