Why the Definition of What Cloud Is Matters -Robin Querin

Robin leads VMware’s Cloud Management Technologist practice. Robin points out that many people think about cloud as if it were a destination. My cloud is AWS or Azure or Google. But as we all move into a world where one organization may be using AWS and Azure and Google; it’s more useful to return to the idea that cloud is an operating model. Thinking about cloud this way allows you to focus on building a cloud environment that can easily support operations across a multi-cloud landscape. The other big idea that organizations need to think about is the idea that cloud is personal. If you want to build a world-class cloud that addresses the needs of real people, you need focused on their needs upfront.
