The Isle of Man needs to distance itself from the UK’s position on the ongoing conflict in Gaza. That’s the view of protestors who today (19 March) gathered outside the Tynwald building in Douglas to urge the Island’s parliament to support calls for an immediate ceasefire. They say despite months of lobbying MHKs, and the chief minister directly, there has still been no public statement regarding the Manx position. Tessa Hawley and Phil Gawne have this report:
