Why this MBA Graduate and 2X Expat Started Her Career Doing Social Impact Work in Latin America

from Black Broads Abroad · host Phelena Jean

In episode 9 of Black Broads Abroad I interview Margaret Free, MBA and 2X Latin America expat. Margaret was born and raised in Greensboro, NC and from a very young age knew that she wanted to see and experience the world.  After a year stint in the Dominican Republic while in college, she set her sights on Latin America and always looked for ways to return for travel or for a long term stay.  She has lived in 8 different cities and spent a year and a half in Arequipa, Peru working with women entrepreneurs. Since that time Margaret has made her home in Atlanta where she started The Vibe Rise, a website and podcast focused on the spiritual awakenings of Black Women of the Diaspora. She keeps her candles lit, crystals charged, and her chakras aligned.
