Tuesday, May 19, was a day of turning of the tide for the new Red Wave. Though 2Days Denarius as a channel does not often address political issues, this ministry understands the critical need of addressing politics on occasion, especially when it comes to moral issues and/or those that address the wellbeing of the citizens of our nation. There were large rumblings from the conservative base showing their anger in the voting booth recently in Indiana and the Louisiana primaries. And then it spilled over into Kentucky in a big way. One representative, Thomas Massie, who steadily voting against critical issues that would have aided the wellbeing of citizens, along with restoring election integrity, was voted out of office in a landslide. It is necessary to give attention to this trend as this voter turnout just may move the balance away from the challenging party this year when midterm elections come. That remains to be seen. But it's clear the conservatives in the GOP have become the moving force when it comes to showing what they expect of their senators and representatives.
