Why to Believe in God? Or Why Not?!

What?  Your back again?  Thanks for coming back.  If you are new with us, thanks for giving us a shot.  This pod is a bunch of flawed dudes getting real and pursuing Truth.  This week, Bold Brian comes back profoundly.  He had a wake up call at 3AM and a major download.  Now, you get to listen to it, share it, validate it or debate it.  Whoa!  Bold Brian!  Okay skeptic, Brian is either crazy or that was absolutely a download from God.  I'm betting on the latter.  As Rockin Rick astutely observed, is what Brian saying matching with what the Bible says.  We need to do that with any speaker/writer.  On the flip side, we all know/heard others that are doing devastating things and saying God told them to do it.  A lot of damage has been done by HypoChristians and other religions in the name of God but don't match God's instructions in the Owner's Manual the Bible.  That is our quality control marker.  Case in point, if you own a car then you have an Owner's Manual for it. It tells you everything you need to do to take care of it properly.  If you were to tell me that God told you to put sand into your oil tank, I would say no way.  The Owner's Manual does not say to put sand in your oil tank.  It says exactly what kind of oil and how often you should change it.  The Bible has similar instructions for your life.  Your choice whether to actually read and follow them.  On that note, song time.  This is an amazing live version of 'Way Maker' by Leeland.  Fits in perfect to today's message.  If you dig, please add and enjoy.  Now, go and share Light!
