Why We Do Territorial Acknowledgments

We welcome special guest Len Pierre of the Katzie First Nation back to the Fraser Valley Work Cast! Today's topic: how to help non-indigenous Canadians learn about the practice of Territorial Acknowledgments. Why is this important? Why do we see Territorial Acknowledgments at public events like hockey games, civic ceremonies and conferences? An educator and consultant, Len is an excellent transcultural communicator. He provides an excellent explanation in easy-to-understand terms.
