Send us Fan MailWhy We Don’t Have Peace“If you had walked in the way of God, you would be dwelling in peace for ever.” - Baruch 3:13Those who live with and in: hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft and the like. I warn you… that those who live like this will not inherit (experience) the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21)The list above I quoted directly from Galatians, but I switched the order around because too many appear to stop reading after hearing “sexual immorality” and pay little attention to the rest of the list. Those who live in hatred, and discord- stirring up mess, practicing division do not experience God’s peace. Those driven by self ambition and envy and worshipping money, power, and status do not experience God’s peace. Excessive partying doesn’t bring peace. And yes, we will not find our peace inside the next person’s pants or panties either. Only living the in all encompassing way of love will bring peace to us. I’m Horace McMillon.
