Pete Petrusha is a game designer and an Indy RPG insider. He cut his teeth on MTG, JPRGs, and solely mechanics focused 2nd Ed AD&D. Despite his crunchy origins, Pete always craved something more immersive and narrative driven. This is certainly reflected in his game design, which is progressively more non-traditional. Ironically, he’s an avowed mechanics junky. We discuss some graphic design essentials from the perspectives of game a developer and a retailer.
