Why We Judge Others

from Horse Hippie’s Morning Mantras · host Horse Hippie

Morning Mantra: "It's easier to look at the short comings of others and judge them, than to address our own lack of self-worth."  We are quick to judge others. Taking time to understand them is more difficult, so we judge. We think we know them better than they do, or at least what they should do, look like, act like, or be like.  Boy has this become an even bigger issue now with social media.Judging comes from our own insecurity.  Understanding and accepting others- even if they aren't who we think they should be- requires compassion, patience, and is rooted in love.It must start with our own self-love. Our own feelings of worthiness.Once we accept that we are worthy- despite not being perfect- we can begin to allow others to be the same.Once we recognize that judging separates us from each other, and from our best self, we can begin to close the gap, and move closer to peace. To love more and judge less.#BeLessJudegy  #behappy #behorsey #behippie #HorseHippie #HorseHippieBrand #morningmantra #morningmotivation #inspirationoftheday #inspirationalquotes
