This episode is one of the hardest stories I have ever told.When people ask why women don’t come forward after an assault, why they stay silent, or why they don’t report, I need you to understand something…It’s not because it didn’t happen.It’s not because they’re weak.It’s because the system that is supposed to protect them often makes them relive it all over again.In this episode, I share my personal experience with an attempted assault, what happened when I spoke up, and how the system responded.This is not easy to listen to.But it’s necessary.This is for every woman who was questioned, minimized, or not believed.Silence protects predators.And I’m not silent anymore.
