A 37-year-old man was arraigned in Boston for assault and malicious destruction of property.  Michael Patzelt allegedly did $20,000 worth of damage to a crucifix outside the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in South End. Patzelt has multiple convictions across two states which includes assaulting an ambulance driver.  However, the Archdiocese of Boston does not want to prosecute Patzelt.
