Why would anyone want to remove a rib to look better? WOR show 7/6/19

Email me...Plastic surgery should be performed to help people look normal.  And natural.  So when someone comes in asking for something bizarre, like to have a rib removed to have a smaller waist, or to have their calf muscles made smaller, or....the list goes on..., I say no.  And that should be the answer by all plastic surgeons.  Certainly we would not remove a thumb to make the hand look symmetrical, and so why would we remove ribs that protect the lungs, the heart, the kidneys, and liver....just to have a smaller waist.  In my opinion this is plastic surgery going too far.  We discuss this on tonight's show.  We also discuss how older women's noses become more bulbous and how they can benefit from rhinoplasty.
