Why you should review your tech solution today

from The ifa Show · host Momentum Media

In this episode of the ifa podcast, host Maja Garaca Djurdjevic sits down with Tristan Hochwallner, head of sales at Asendium, to chat about how tech is allowing advisers to spend more time with their clients. Tristan shares the latest on the current state of the advice tech world and why advisers should review their technology solutions today. "If we look at what a lot of people are using today, [they are] incremental legacy systems [that were] designed 10-plus years ago," Tristan says. "What's happened is, technology has had to respond in a knee-jerk fashion to the changes in compliance. Every couple of years, you've had to quickly go, 'This requirement has changed, how do we quickly bolt on a solution?'" Hence, he says, we have an "amalgamation of all these different elements needing to talk to each other" but not doing it in the most efficient way. So, while advising advisers to review their technology, Tristan also talks about the process that it entails. He touches on Asendium's successes as well, and what sets it apart from the rest.
