The side of reason and democracy is winning. The cracks are getting wider and it’s only a matter of time before the whole evil structure comes tumbling down. This administration has already had and squandered its moment of peak power. They were desperate, and they tried to move too hard into authoritarianism too quickly. That’s understandable because the Republican party is made up of a bunch of cruel men who want to escape whatever accountability awaits them in the Epstein files. We’re at the point now where they had to shut the whole government down to protect themselves. That’s not “winning” that’s “floundering.” They’re not using their power, they locked power up in a room and they refuse to open the door. All that is good news, but we’re a long way from throwing ourselves a party. As for me, my goal is universal healthcare. I’ll celebrate when every American child, woman and man can get treatment without having to go bankrupt. I even want MAGA to have their healthcare covered, because I’m not evil. I don’t like to see people suffer.Right now, we are facing a lot of dangers that are disguised as friends. That came into focus last week when Zohran Mamdani had a resounding victory for the people that came despite the efforts of both parties.Think about that for a second. Both the Democrats and the Republicans wanted the populist candidate to lose. Recalibrate your perception of our time, because that’s critical if you’re going to embrace a strategy that will actually work for us.We absolutely cannot allow ourselves to go back to a Biden era way of doing things. It’s simply unacceptable that so many Americans have to wallow in pain and misery in the United States. It’s immoral, it’s evil, it’s wrong.Sponsor me for $5 a month ❤️ Sponsor me for $4 a month 🧡 Sponsor me for $3 a month 💛 Sponsor me for $2 a month 💚 Thank you! 💙Also, this system didn’t come into place on November 5th, 2024. It’s been decades in the making, and every single Republican politician of the last 40 years has played a part in it as have many of the establishment Democrats.Keep in mind, there is always an opportunity for a dishonest person to enrich himself or herself with political office. Heck, even the treasurer of your local basketball club could run off with all the money if he had no ethics. The theft is potentially much bigger when you’re gazing down upon trillions of dollars. We entrust our leaders with important jobs. Those leaders determine where public funding goes. If those leaders enrich themselves with our taxpayer dollars, they are corrupt. That’s the definition of corruption.Right now, you’re seeing establishment Democrats talk about creating a “big tent.” But what do they really mean? It’s obvious from their actions that people like Zohran Mamdani are not welcome in that tent. Establishment Democrats have already made unforgiveable statements that they plan to exclude members of the transgender community. We can’t allow that. We need a real big tent that works for the people. What establishment Democrats and “reformed” Republicans seem to want is a “money tent” where they can join forces to continue to steal from the American people. No, we can’t allow that.I find it absolutely disgusting that the establishment Democrats are so much more open to “reformed” Republicans than progressive Democrats who are actually showing them how to win elections.I know there’s a temptation to say, “Well, we need all the allies we can get!” But are they allies though? Are people who voted with the current president 93% of the time actually our friends? Are people who voted against the Voting Rights Act really on our side?I don’t think they are.Instead, I think they’re muscling into the media in order to suck oxygen out of the lungs of progressive voices. Again, grifting Republicans on redemption tours have already made themselves rich on taxpayer money. They’ve had the benefit of government funded healthcare. They can afford to sponsor themselves to write reasonable sounding arguments where they lecture us on how it’s “unreasonable” that we should get the same health care they already enjoyed.People quite often talk about the “divide” among liberals. They talk about how liberals are prone to “infighting” and they can’t “unite” to form an effective coalition.Um, do you think it’s because the establishment Democrats open the door to the so-called “reformed” Republicans who haven’t changed anything about their philosophy other than they don’t want to sink with the corrupt regime?Yeah, think about that for a second.Sponsor me for $5 a month ❤️ Sponsor me for $4 a month 🧡 Sponsor me for $3 a month 💛 Sponsor me for $2 a month 💚 Thank you! 💙I’ve jumped on the profiles of some of these people. They have a lot of “paid subscribers” that have a fake name, no profile picture, and less than a dozen followers. Those look like bot accounts to me. So what’s happening? Are these grifter Republicans creating hundreds of fake accounts so they can sponsor themselves and look more popular than they really are? Is this a way to trick the algorithm to show their content at the expense of the meritorious content that actually fights for the rights of the people?Today, I’ve been fending off dozens of comments from real people who have been programmed by grifter Republicans. They keep saying that “running on a platform of universal healthcare won’t work in red states.”Well, since when did a centrist platform win in a red state? Establishment Democrats don’t even try to win in places like that. They never think further than 10 months ahead. They rely on their “Blue wall” of swing states that has crumbled again and again.Did you ever notice that every time the establishment Democrats fail, they blame it on progressives? Why do you think that is?Could it be that the establishment Democrats, and the Republicans, and the grifter Republicans, and the oligarch owned media are all working to fabricate the lie that the American people don’t deserve to have a government that works for them?Ding, ding, ding!So please, do yourself a favor. If you’re subscribing to a grifter “reformed” Republican on a redemption tour, unsubscribe. Believe me, you’ve heard that argument already. He’s serving the same s**t sandwich in a different packaging.Sponsor me for $5 a month ❤️ Sponsor me for $4 a month 🧡 Sponsor me for $3 a month 💛 Sponsor me for $2 a month 💚 Thank you! 💙It’s time to listen to other voices. It’s time to listen to voices that haven’t had the privilege of enriching themselves through unethical behavior while they worked in government. It’s time to listen to people that spend their time attacking fascists and defending progressives. The truth is, we can have all the things that the establishment Democrats, and the grifter Republicans say we can’t. We just have to put an end to their unethical behavior. There is a path to redemption out there, but we have to see it. If a Republican has truly reformed, that means he has to show a commitment to undoing all the evil he did in his former life. That means he has to become a strong advocate for universal healthcare. That means he has to endorse progressive candidates like Mamdani. That means he cannot casually undermine or divide the liberal coalition with his worn out, tired old lies. That means that person should not have any of his content behind a paywall. But at the end of the day everybody, aren’t you tired? Aren’t you tired of the same old stories? Aren’t you tired of hearing the same old lies?Stop listening to them. Stop believing them. Stop repeating them.We have to feed everyone, we have to educate everyone, we have to house everyone, we have to heal everyone.I don’t care if it’s “not practical.” Don’t listen to listen to liars who present themselves as friends. We can’t let anyone stop us from creating a nation that works for everyone! You all make this newsletter happen! Thanks for your sponsorship!
