Why Your Podcast Doesn't Need to be Perfect For You To Post It | Ep 9

from Ready To Be Heard with Chantelle Dyson · host Chantelle Dyson

*THIS EPISODE IS COMPLETELY UNEDITED* - except for the intro music, I've left this episode exactly as it was when I recorded it. The reason? So that you could hear what a podcast with no editing sounds like, and realise that stutters and mistakes are absolutely fine, so that you can finally get over your perfectionism and actually get that podcast recorded, once and for all. Honestly, I thought about this episode *a lot* more than usual. I rely on the edits to retake parts, but I've also done interviews, been on panels, and I'm a teacher by trade, so committing to what I'm saying and not being able to go back and edit is just normal. And the next time you try to tell me you can't start your podcast because you're worried you'll "say the wrong thing" or "stumble over your words", you'll know that 1. you can always edit and 2. there's a podcast episode out there of mine that's completely unedited and where I do stumble over my words, and hey, I'm here to let the world see and hear it!
