Summary

We all want to achieve success, but chasing outcomes often leaves us unfulfilled. The key is realizing achievement is a byproduct of who we become, not the goal itself. Winners have winning mindsets before they win.

You'll never attain goals if your identity conflicts with the person capable of that achievement. Most people can't own winning mindsets because culture says we aren't winners until after we've won. But the truth is you must believe you're a winner first to unlock winning behavior.

Winning starts within. To become a winner:

  1. Get clear on your specific desired outcomes
  2. Identify limiting beliefs about yourself
  3. Intentionally define the identity of someone who achieves that outcome
  4. Embody the winning characteristics daily
  5. Surround yourself with people already winning
  6. Own your greatness - who you were created to be
  7. Repeat this identity alignment process in all areas

It’s not ego, it’s confidence in your purpose and gifts. You achieve goals by focusing on becoming the person capable of that achievement. Value growth in yourself above arbitrary results. Outcomes will follow.
