Wi2025: Grants for Profit: Finding and Writing Grants for Your Store

When we think of grants, we often assume that only nonprofits can receive them. That's actually not true at all — there are plenty of grants available for for-profit organizations, including your bookstore! This session will explore how to locate these grants and begin the process of applying for these grants. Whether you're looking to secure funding for school partnerships or community initiatives, you'll leave knowing how grants, and other non-traditional funding, can empower your bookstore's growth and impact, regardless of your background or focus.   Recorded Februrary 25, 2025 at Winter Institute 2025 in Denver, CO Additional bookstore education resources can be found at www.bookweb.org.   Theme song by Constant Companion
