So if we sound winded… we kind of are. This one was a lot. Nearly 3 hours long (plus popcorn breaks), and packed with color, lore, and a whole lot of Elphaba.This isn’t an indie. It’s not a doc. But it is a cultural moment — so we’re giving it the full Cade & Kit treatment anyway.Wicked rewinds the clock on The Wizard of Oz, telling the untold story of the “Wicked” Witch of the West — and how she wasn’t so wicked after all.🧪 Friendship, betrayal, and magical politics🌈 Prequel energy that actually works💔 One part fantasy, one part heartbreak, all BroadwayIf you know the musical, it holds up. If you don’t… it still mostly makes sense. The emotional core? Solid. The plot? A bit packed, but not incoherent.They cast big.
