Wicked Little Town: TIFF 2020 pt. iii

As of this morning, we officially enter the final stretch of TIFF 2020. Just like any other year, there are surprises, there is burnout, there are films we want to watch on-repeat, and there are films we never want to see again. These are unique times, but some things never change. It’s been a long time since I caught up with today’s guest, and despite a few technical hiccups with our video call, it was a great conversation about some deeply affecting works coming from this year’s slate.
