She also struggled to find a therapist she connected with and felt alone in her grief and pain.Kathryn felt that widows and widowers were missing adequate support in those early days of grief, and she was determined to change that. Kathryn became a grief coach and built support groups for people grieving the loss of their spouse. As Kathryn explains, grief is a complex and multi-layered process, and it's not something that can be overcome overnight. It takes time, patience, and the right kind of support to heal.Oftentimes, grief can grip us in a way that feels paralyzing and we get stuck in a fog that feels impossible to clear.
