Eine Affäre rund um einen Spitzendiplomaten sorgt in Österreich für Schlagzeilen. Der Mann im Außendienst soll über Jahre einen frauenfeindlichen Sado-Maso-Blog betrieben haben. Inzwischen ist er von seinem Posten als EU-Botschafter zurückgetreten. Aber hinter den Kulissen brodelt es weiter. Denn offenbar führte der Diplomat seinen Sado-Maso-Blog nicht nur privat, sondern auch während seiner Arbeitszeit – von Dienstgeräten aus. Genau dadurch könnte eine massive Sicherheitslücke entstanden sein, über die womöglich einer der größten Hacks in der Geschichte des österreichischen Außenministeriums möglich wurde. Intern sollen diese Vorwürfe längst bekannt gewesen sein. Trotzdem kam der Diplomat jahrelang ungeschoren davon. Warum? Gab es ein Netzwerk im Außenministerium, das ihn schützte?
