Wild Card Weather with DMICMedia

from The Big D Podcast

In this episode, DMICMedia and I look at the Super Wild Card Weather for each one of the six playoff games this weekend. First, we look at a potential rainy and windy mess between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara. With the Bay Area seeing more rain and wind, Saturday's game looks like a sloppy encounter between the two NFC West rivals. Does this limit the potential scoring and create more turnovers? Onto the Chargers-Jaguars, where Jacksonville could be experiencing one of its coldest home games ever on Saturday night. How cold could the weather be? Sunday's Dolphins-Bills game sure seems to be catching a weather break with little chance of cold, wind, or snow for this game. In an area used to winter, how unusual is a January game without bad weather? From New York to Minnesota, where the NY Giants and Minnesota Vikings will enjoy this weekend's only dome game inside U.S. Bank Stadium. With this game indoors and looking like a potential shootout, what would a potential outdoor game in Minnesota'v famous cold weather do to the score? We then look at Monday's game between the Dallas and Tampa Bay Bucs. A unique trait with the Cowboys is an 11-1 record on turf. Dallas is just 1-4 on natural grass, which Tampa plays its home games on grass. The Bucs won Week 1 on turf in Arlington. Finally, we look at our famous playoff games affected by weather. Whether fog, rain, snow, or bitter cold, playoff football produces unpredictable weather.
