The multitude of the sick shall not make us deny the existence of health (Emerson, 1860). Let's focus on the individual animals that remain healthy, while others struggle. Wildlife that harbor diseases wihtout showing symptoms of being diseased is the epitome of health! The presence of a pathogen IS NOT the same as the presense of the disease.  In nature, the weak die...in society we're always looking at saving the unhealthy. Unfortunatley, it's a moral crime to admit that the weak will in fact succumb to something; it makes the species as a whole much more fit. Modern wildlife struggle to self-medicate, nourish and maintain robust immune systems because of ecological dysfunction (habitat destruction, mismanagement, toxins, domestic animal diseases).  Scientists around the world regularly report that wild animals are infected with pathogens (disease-causing organisms) with ABSOLUTELY NO SYMPTOMS WHATSOEVER!  Let's focus on WILD HEALTH....
