Wildcats Turn It Around at Alex Lagowitz | Villanova Wildcats Basketball News

Villanova’s men’s golf team made a strong statement in their 2026-27 opener at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial, finishing seventh despite tough competition — and it was all thanks to breakout performances from freshman Evan Rohde and junior Vibhav Alokam. Rohde tied for third overall with a stellar four-under finish, while Alokam shot a career-best round and tied for third in program history with seven eagles. The Wildcats bounced back from an eleven-over first round with a five-under second round, fueled by grit, belief, and Coach James Wilkes’ leadership. They’re now eyeing even bigger things at The Goat next month. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
